This 'inside-out' approach was a revelation, leading me down the rabbit hole to its source: the holistic Korean wellness philosophy, often called K-Health. I became captivated by the core belief that our health, our appearance, and our life are not separate categories, but are deeply and fundamentally connected. It’s a proactive, preventative approach to well-being.

While IUM life’s products are formulated with universally effective, science-backed ingredients for a global audience, our name is a tribute to the philosophy that first sparked this passion. 'IUM' (이음) is the Korean word for 'connection,' and it represents the core mission that drives us every single day.

This idea of 'connection' was inspiring, but it became a life-altering mission after our founder experienced profound personal loss. The sudden passing of a family member and a close coworker from cardiac arrest was a devastating wake-up call. It was a tragic, real-world lesson that when we lose connection with our health, we risk losing everything. That grief was forged into a promise: to create our own brand to help others build a foundation for a long, healthy life.
